COVID-19: 333 new cases, 376 patients recover, 16 die
Skopje, 2 December 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 333 new COVID-19 infections after 2,440 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 16 deaths and 376 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday. Of the new cases, 154 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 23, Prilep – 23, Kavadarci – 22,. Kumanovo – 16, Ohrid – 15, Shtip – 9, Strumica – 8, Veles – 7, Tetovo – 6, Delchevo – 5, Valandovo – 5, Kriva Palanka – 4, Resen – 4, Kratovo – 4, Kochani – 3, Struga – 3, Gevgelija – 3, Negotino – 3, Radovish – 2, Probishtip – 2, Bogdanci – 2, Demir Hisar – 2, Krushevo – 2, Gostivar – 1, Kichevo – 1, Sveti Nikole – 1, Vinica – 1, Makedonska Kamenica – 1 and Pehchevo – 1. Sixteen deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including four in Skopje (aged 42, 54, 64 and 80), two in Bitola (33 and 86), two in Shtip (62 and 78), two in Kochani (55 and 82), one in Prilep (74), one in Ohrid (86), one in Veles (80), one in Kriva Palanka (77), one in Bogdanci (58) and one in Demir Hisar (83). One more death was recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated Nov. 30. At the moment, 8,050 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,476,534 tests, recording 216,328 COVID-19 cases and 200,669 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,609.
