COVID-19: 322 new cases, 308 recoveries, one dies
Skopje, 25 March 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 322 new COVID-19 infections after 2,246 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, one patient died and 308 recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday. Of the new cases, 178 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 31, Kavadarci – 19, Veles – 17, Kumanovo – 12, Prilep – 11, Strumica – 9, Kochani – 9, Delchevo – 8, Ohrid – 6, Kichevo – 6, Gevgelija – 3, Resen – 3, Negotino – 2, Radovish – 2, Berovo – 2, Bogdanci – 2, Valandovo – 1, and Pehchevo – 1. In addition, 42 of the total number of new cases (322) are re-infections. One patient died, from Skopje (aged 86). According to the Covid-diagnosed fatality registry, five people died between February 25-March 22. At the moment, 1,972 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,948,834 tests, recording 304,648 COVID-19 cases and 293,479 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,197.
