COVID-19: 285 new cases and five fatalities in past 24 hours
Skopje, 14 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia on Sunday recorded 285 new COVID-19 infections, including 110 in Skopje, after 2,667 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours.
Also, five deaths were reported in the past 24 hours including two in Skopje, two in Veles and one in Berovo, the Health Ministry said Sunday.
Also, according to the registry of coronavirus-related deaths, three people died between Oct. 22 and Oct.26, aged from 72-85, in Skopje and Kochani. Of those, one person died at home and the other two in hospital.
Citing data from the Public Health Institute, the Health Ministry said 328 recovered patients were registered in the past 24 hours.
At the moment, 8,549 cases are active nationwide, including 3,852 in the capital Skopje.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,428,941 tests, recording 209,277 COVID-19 cases and 193,400 recoveries.
The death toll has reached 7,328.
