COVID-19: 183 new cases, 531 patients recover, 18 die
Skopje, 13 September 2021 (MIA) – Over the past 24 hours, North Macedonia registered 183 new COVID-19 cases from 2,035 tests done in the country, 531 patients recovered and 18 people died from coronavirus-related complications, health authorities said on Monday. New cases were recorded in Skopje-132, Kumanovo-13, Kavadarci-6, Prilep-3, Struga-3, Kriva Palanka-3, Tetovo-2, Bitola-2, Veles-2, Ohrid-2, Strumica-2, Kichevo-2, Kratovo-2, Demir Kapija-2, Gostivar-1, Shtip-1, Kochani-1, Gevgelija-1, Sveti Nikole-1, Berovo-1, Makedonska Kamenica-1. Of the 18 people who died from coronavirus-related complications, 9 died in Skopje (aged 52, 57, 59, 61, 64, 67, 69, 80 and 85), four in Kavadarci (60, 72, 88 and 88), two in Tetovo (48 and 81), two in Bitola (79 and 81), and one in Gostivar (78). At the moment, 13,045 cases are active nationwide, of which 5,791 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, a total of 1,225,089 tests have been made, recording 183,705 COVID-19 cases and 164,383 recoveries. The death toll has reached 6,277.
