COVID-19: 18 new cases, 8 patients recover, no deaths
Skopje, 16 July 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded Friday 18 new COVID-19 cases after a total of 3,470 tests were conducted at labs across the country. No deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, according to data of the Public Health Institute. Of the new cases, eight were registered in Tetovo, four in Skopje, Gostivar-2, Ohrid-2, Radovish-1 and Debar-1. Eight patients were registered as having recovered in the same time period, said the Health Ministry. A total of 923,515 tests have been conducted so far. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 155,882 coronavirus confirmed cases with 150,159 people recovering from the virus. Death toll stands at 5,487. At the moment, there are 236 active cases across the country.
