COVID-19: 173 new cases, 186 recoveries, three deaths
Skopje, 19 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 173 new COVID-19 cases after 1,216 tests were performed in the past three days (September 16-18), three deaths were reported, while 186 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday. Of the new cases, 123 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 16, Kavadarci – 7, Prilep – 6, Veles – 4, Kumanovo – 3, Ohrid – 3, Shtip – 3, Strumica – 2, Resen – 2, Kratovo – 2, Tetovo – 1, and Radovish – 1. Three persons died, from Skopje (aged 69), Valandovo (75) and Ohrid (79). At the moment, 673 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,162,814 tests, recording 342,248 COVID-19 cases and 332,051 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,524.
