COVID-19: 168 new cases, 90 recoveries

Skopje, 28 June 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 168 new COVID-19 cases after 1,101 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 90 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, 91 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 12, Kavadarci – 10, Tetovo – 10, Ohrid – 10, Veles – 9, Prilep – 5, Shtip – 3, Strumica – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Gostivar – 2, Struga – 2, Resen – 2, Krushevo – 2, Kochani – 1, Negotino – 1, Radovish – 1, Kriva Palanka – 1, and Debar – 1.
At the moment, 648 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,079,613 tests, recording 313,708 COVID-19 cases and 303,738 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,322.
