COVID-19: 155 new cases, 387 patients recover, 13 die
Skopje, 22 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 155 new COVID-19 infections after 1,179 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 13 deaths and 387 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Monday.
Of the new cases, 113 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kavadarci – 8, Kumanovo – 6, Bitola – 6, Prilep – 4, Kochani – 4, Resen – 3, Ohrid – 2, Gevgelija – 2, Negotino - 2, Struga – 1, Kriva Palanka – 1, Berovo – 1, Delchevo – 1, Makedonski Brod – 1.
Of the 13 fatalities, four were registered in Veles (aged 69, 72, 83 and 84), three in Skopje (50, 63 and 68), two in Kumanovo (64 and 67), one in Prilep (50), one in Bitola (68), one in Shtip (69), and Kriva Palanka (82).
At the moment, 8,290 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,450,215 tests, recording 212,375 COVID-19 cases and 196,636 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,449.
