Covid-19: 130 new cases, 6 deaths, 423 recoveries
Skopje, 12 October 2021 (MIA) — Of the 1,843 people tested for coronavirus over the past 24 hours, 130 were diagnosed with Covid-19. Six people, aged 27 to 85, died from the illness, the Ministry of Health said Tuesday. Of the new cases, 88 were diagnosed in Skopje. New cases were also recorded in Kavadarci – 10, Veles – 7, Prilep – 6, Ohrid – 4, Kriva Palanka – 4, Kumanovo – 3, Bitola – 3, Gostivar – 2, Kichevo – 2, and Demir Hisar – 1. In the past 24 hours, 423 people recovered from the virus. In the past 24 hours, six people died from coronavirus-related complications. Two people died in Kumanovo (aged 63 and 68), and one person each in Skopje (aged 77), Tetovo (aged 85), Kriva Palanka (aged 27), and Strumica (aged 80). All of them died in hospital. At the moment, 6,658 cases are active nationwide, of which 3,391 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,326,737 tests, recording 195,132 Covid-19 cases and 181,619 recoveries. The death toll has reached 6,855.
