COVID-19: 108 new cases, 135 recoveries, three die
Skopje, 3 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 108 new COVID-19 cases after 976 tests were performed in the past three days (September 30-October 2), three deaths were reported, while 135 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
Of the new cases, 83 were registered in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 5, Shtip – 4, Bitola – 2, Tetovo – 2, Kavadarci – 2, Kichevo – 2, Kratovo – 2, Kumanovo – 1, Ohrid – 1, Strumica – 1, Gevgelija – 1, Negotino – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
Three persons died, two from Ohrid (aged 81 and 89) and one from Kratovo (72).
At the moment, 465 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,170,602 tests, recording 343,069 COVID-19 cases and 333,067 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,537.
