Court orders detention, precautionary measures for three suspects in ‘Additive’ case

Skopje, 25 April 2025 (MIA) – Following the motion of the Public Prosecutor's Office in the ongoing “Additive” case investigation, the Criminal Court ordered a 30-day detention for the main suspect, an employee of one of the indicted companies, and precautionary measures for two others: an employee at the thermal power plant (TEC) Negotino branch and the current State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) President, Tatjana Dimitrovska.

An investigative judge, acting upon a motion from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Prosecuting Organized Crime and Corruption to impose measures to ensure the presence and precautionary measures against three individuals connected to the continued operation referred to by the Prosecution as “Additive,” issued rulings accepting the Prosecutor’s request following the individuals' statements before the court.

“B.N., suspected of criminal association, abuse of the public procurement procedure, and money laundering and other proceeds of crime, was ordered into 30-day detention. As for B.P.M. and T.D., who are suspected of the criminal offense of disclosing official secrets, the court accepted the proposal to impose precautionary measures, including temporary confiscation of their passports, a ban on issuing new ones, and restrictions on performing certain job duties related to the case,” the Criminal Court Skopje said in a press release.

The Public Prosecutor's Office said on Thursday that three more individuals have been identified as suspects in the “Additive” case.
