Council of Public Prosecutors nominates Abazi and Rajevska for members of Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors’s management board
Skopje, 11 November 2022 (MIA) – The Council of Public Prosecutors at its Friday’s session nominated the prosecutors Islam Abazi and Fidanka Rajevska for members of management board of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors.
On November 7, Abazi has won the most (66) votes in the elections for the head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office on Organised Crime and Corruption and the Council of Public Prosecutors is set to hold a meeting on Monday to appoint him, while Rajevska is a member of the Council of Public Prosecutors.
Burim Rustemi and Riste Bojadziski have been nominated as their deputies.
The Council of Public Prosecutors nominates Jovan Cvetanovski and Gazmend Mehemti as members and Peco Vezirovski and Faton Azizi as their deputies of the Commission for Final Examination at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors from among the public prosecutors.
The Council of Public Prosecutors also passed a decision to terminate the position of public prosecutor of Riste Shosheski, due to fulfilling the conditions for an old-age pension for the public prosecutor in the Prilep Public Prosecutor's Office.
