Skopje, 15 July 2022 (MIA) – Constitutional Court President Dobrila Kacarska held Friday a meeting with Spanish Ambassador to North Macedonia, Jose Luis Lozano Garcia, sharing her vision for improvement of the protection of citizens’ rights and liberties through implementation of the constitutional lawsuit. Kacarska thanked Lozano Garcia for his interest in the Constitutional Court’s work and she shared the information related to its jurisdiction and its long-term tradition in this country. President Kacarska also pointed out the problematic condition with the lack of judges and the consequences in the Court’s work in current circumstances, according to the Constitutional Court press release. Ambassador Garcia expressed his interest in the problems the Court is facing, as well as his interest in connecting the constitutional courts in both countries through an exchange of judges’ experiences and services, as well as the opportunity and willingness to develop bilateral cooperation. dk/ik/
