Committee concludes debate on amendments to parliamentary rulebook
Skopje, 10 November 2023 (MIA) – The Parliamentary Committee on Rules of Procedure and Mandatory and Immunity Issues concluded the debate on amendments to Parliament’s Rules of Procedure on Thursday. According to Parliament, 12 out of the 1965 amendments submitted by the MPs have been accepted.
The updated Rules of Procedure are expected to be put to a vote at a session scheduled for November 20.
The updates to the Rules of Procedure were proposed by Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi. The proposal is the result of five-year talks of parliamentary groups within the Jean Monnet process.
