Skopje, 9 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said early Tuesday a total of 33 wildfires were reported across the country in the past 24 hours. Two are still burning, two have been put under control, and 29 were extinguished.

According to CMC's latest report, active fires are burning in the Municipality of Lipkovo - the village of Nikushtak, and in the Municipality of Studenichani - near the villages of Varvara and Drachevica. 

Fires in the municipalities of Berovo and Gazi Baba have been put under control. 

Fires in the municipalities of Gjorche Petrov, Gazi Baba, Sopishte, Saraj, Bitola, Dolneni, Resen, Krushevo, Strumica, Struga, Kavadarci, Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, Delchevo, Kochani, Lipkovo, Kumanovo, Staro Nagorichane, Tetovo, and Gostivar have been put out.
