Skopje, 18 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said Monday out of 19 registered wildfires in the country, three are still active as of 6 p.m. while 16 have been extinguished.

The CMC said there are active wildfires in Jasen in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, in the Municipality of Lipkovo in the village of Slupchane and the Vodno park forest, and in the Municipality of Center where dry grass is on fire.

Fires have been put out in several municipalities, including Lipkovo, Studenichani, Butel, Gazi Baba, Aerodrom, Prilep, Resen, Struga, Debar, Chashka, Shtip, Kochani, Kumanovo, and Jegunovce.
