Skopje, 1 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center said it registered a total of 16 wildfires by 6 p.m. on Monday. Six of them are active, three have been contained while 16 have been fully extinguished.

Active fires are burning near the village of Marvinci in the Municipality of Valandovo, the village of Ajvatovci in the Municipality of Ilindent, the villages Crnilishte and Dolgaec in the Municipality of Dolneni, the village of Zhivinje in the Municipality of Kumanovo, the village of Lipkovo and the village of Nikushtak in the Municipality of Lipkovo.

Fires on Kozhuf Mountain, Jasen and near Vardarishte have been contained.
