CMC: Six active wildfires, one under control
Skopje, 8 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said early Monday that 9 wildfires were registered nationwide over the past day, of which six are active, one is under control, while two have been extinguished.
The wildfires in the municipalities of Berovo, Studenichani, Lipkovo (2) and Struga (2) are still active, while the one in the Vardarishte landfill in Gazi Baba is under control.
The fires in the municipalities of Cheshinovo Obleshevo and Tetovo have been put out.
