Skopje, 29 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center said it registered eighteen wildfires on Friday afternoon, of which six are active, four are under control while eight have been fully extinguished.

Active wildfires are burning between the villages Dobri Dol and Vrapchishte in the Municipality of Vrapchishte, near the village of Kopanica in the Municipality of Saraj, near the village of Maglence in the Municipality of Staro Nagorichane, near the Kiro Kjuchuk factory in the Municipality of Veles, near the Tikvesh Lake, and near the area known as Ergala in the Municipality of Bitola.

Fires in the municipalities of Gevgelija, Zhelino, and Makedonski Brod are under control.
