Skopje, 17 August 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said a total of 27 wildfires were reported across the country by 8 a.m. on Sunday. Two are still burning, one has been put under control, and twenty-four have been extinguished. 

According to the CMC, the fire located in the Jasen National Park in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, where mixed forest is burning, and the fire between the villages of Lojane and Tabanovce, municipalities Kumanovo and Lipkovo, are still burning. 

The fire between the villages of Rogachevo and Jazhince in the municipality of Jegunovce has been put under control. 

Fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Dolneni, Tetovo, Vrapchishte, Gostivar, Lipkovo, Kumanovo, Shtip, Struga, Kichevo, Krushevo, Kisela Voda, Shuto Orizari, Ilinden, Bogovinje, Ohrid, Staro Nagorichane, Kriva Palanka, Butel, and Karposh.
