Skopje, 9 August 2022 (MIA) - There are no active wildfires reported at this point, says the Crisis Management Center (CMC). "A wildfire that broke out near the village of Debreshte, burning a four-hectare area of dry grass was put out in 4:45 pm," said the CMC adding six firefighters, one firefighting vehicle and terrain vehicle were dispatched. Six other wildfires, including two in the Skopje region, were also extinguished. The fire that broke out yesterday in Ohrid between the villages of Vapila and Rasino, said CMC, was fully extinguished by 2:50 pm. "A fire near Tabanovce was fully put out at 4:45 pm after a vehicle and two firefighters were sent to the site. Also, a fire in Debreshte was put out in 4:45 pm with the help of one vehicle and six firefighters. One vehicle and three firefighters put out the fire near Furka village," it added.
