Skopje, 10 July 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Centre (CMC) said a total of 29 wildfires were registered in the country until 6:30 pm on Thursday, of which 9 are still active.  

Four fires have been contained, and 16 extinguished.

Active fires are burning in Chucher Sandevo Municipality between the villages of Blace and Gornjani; in Prilep Municipality near the village of Beshishte; in Makedonski Brod Municipality between the villages of Creshnevo and Lokvica; in Dojran Municipality near the village of Nikolikj; in Vasilevo Municipality in the village of Vladevci; in Chashka Municipality under Solunska Glava, with no active flames but smoke in rocky terrain; in Kriva Palanka Muncipality near the village of Lozanovo; in Tetovo Municipality along the Tetovo-Selce village road; in Delchevo Municipality near Brezhje. 

Four fires have been contained, including a bushfire around the Samokov manufacturing plant in the village of Ramne; and a forest fire near the villages of Slatina and Kovche. 

Sixteen fires have been put out, including the Vizbegovo landfill fire in the Municipality of Shuto Orizari, the fire in Gjorche Petrov Municipality near the village of Orman, and in the Gazi Baba Municipality near Smilkovsko Lake.
