Skopje, 20 August 2025 (MIA) - A total of 13 wildfires were registered in the country by 6 p.m. Wednesday, four of them are active, one is under control and eight have been fully extinguished, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) has said.

Active wildfires are burning in Jasen in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, in the village of Cerevo in the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostushe, near the village of Chegrane in the Municipality of Gostivar, and near the village of Svetomitrani in the Municipality of Krushevo.

A wildfire burning near the village of Belovodica in the Municipality of Prilep is under control, said the CMC.

Fires have been put out in the municipalities of Petrovec (2), Gazi Baba, Struga, Tetovo, Zhelino, Cheshinovo Obleshevo, and Negotino.
