Skopje, 13 August 2025 (MIA) - A total of 18 wildfires were reported across the country by 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Four are still burning, three have been put under control, and eleven have been extinguished, the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) said. 

According to the CMC, the fire located in the Jasen National Park in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, where mixed forest is burning, is still active. Active fires have also been reported at Oktishka Krast in the municipality of Struga; in the village of Opae in the municipality of Lipkovo; and, in the village of Virche in the municipality of Delchevo. 

Fires in the municipalities of Saraj, Arachinovo, and Demir Hisar are under control.
