Skopje, 18 July 2025 (MIA) - Eight out of 25 wildfires are active late on Friday, said the Crisis Management Center (CMC), adding that 15 have been extinguished while five are under control.

The active fires are burning in the municipalities of Vasilevo, Makedonski Brod, Prilep, Kavadarci, Lipkovo, Bitola, Rosoman and Ilinden.

Fires in Veles, Dojran, Demir Hisar, Makedonski Brod and Delchevo are under control, whereas the ones in Rankovce, Kumanovo, Jegunovce, Sveti Nikole, Bitola, Karbinci, Shtip, Aerodrom and Gazi Baba have been put out.
