Skopje, 18 July 2024 (MIA) – Twenty-four wildfires were reported in the past 24 hours, including 13 that are still active, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) said Thursday adding they are being put out from the ground and air with the aircrafts at disposal from the country and those deployed from other countries.

A bushfire, burning forest trees and bushes, is active in the Negotino village of Kalanjevo, said CMC.

The Center also said that President Gordana Siljanovska –Davkova at noon will visit the servicemen deployed to extinguish the large wildfire on Serta Mountain near Negotino’s Kalanjevo village.  

Active wildfires are also reported in the municipalities of Gevgelija, Radovish, Chashka, Rosoman, Studenichani, Zelenikovo and Shtip.

Eleven wildfires were put out in eleven municipalities, said CMC.
