Skopje, 16 June 2024 (MIA) - Caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi has congratulated Kurban Bayram (Eid al-Adha) to the head of the Islamic Religious Community, Reisul-Ulema Shaqir Fetai and members of the Riyasat and all Muslim followers.

PM Xhaferi wishes good health, solidarity and making good deeds that will enoble the soul and give value, motive and quality of one's life.

"I also wish the Hajj pilgrims to pray for all citizens and the Republic of North Macedonia, for a successful year in peace, well-being and progress in all fields. Besides prayers, we should all do our best to secure a better life for those affected by wars, diseases and natural disasters because life is sacred and everyone should rejoice it equally," reads the note.

Let the holiday, he adds, be a reason for family gatherings, sharing of joy, success, concerns and problems, because family is the core of a healthy society.
