Skopje, 29 August 2023 (MIA) — Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly is arriving in Skopje on Aug. 30 for a working visit to the country.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release, FM Joly will hold official talks with Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani on bilateral ties and strategic partnership, the cooperation within NATO, the country's OSCE Chairpersonship challenges and other curent foreign policy matters.

The foreign ministers' one-on-one meeting will be followed by a meeting between the delegations of the two countries. Osmani and Joly are also set to hold a press conference.

The Canadian foreign minister in Skopje will also meet with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska. mr/
