Campaign promoting direct communication with farmers launches

Skopje, 18 March 2026 (MIA) – A campaign titled “"The Voice We Listen To - Macedonian, The Best", aimed at establishing direct communication with farmers and presenting current measures and policies to support Macedonian production, launches Wednesday with an event taking place in the Municipality of Bosilovo later in the day.

Direct communication with farmers is of vital importance, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Cvetan Tripunovski has said.

“Agriculture institutions must have direct communication with the farmers, including discussions about current developments and real challenges they are facing,” he said in a TV interview late on Tuesday.

Дополнителниот заменик-министер за земјоделство, шумарство и водостопанство, Цветан Трипуновски денеска на својот фејсбук профил напиша дека извоз на брашно не смее да се дозволи.

The campaign will include two large teams visiting more than 30 municipalities, with six smaller teams going to over 120 populated places across the country.

Speaking at a news conference on Sunday, Minister Tripunovski said the goal of the campaign is to listen to the challenges that farmers face and their ideas. Discussions will focus on the farmers' problems, their proposals for enhancement of production, as well as measures and policies implemented over the past two years.

"The meetings will tackle the real challenges of Macedonian farmers, their proposals and ideas, as well as the presentation of the policies and measures aimed to support the country's agriculture sector," said Tripunovski.

He urged farmers to get involved in the campaign, "so that we create better conditions and a brighter future for Macedonian agriculture".
