Skopje, 2 October 2023 (Embassy of Japan/MIA) - The Embassy of Japan in North Macedonia is pleased to invite you to contribute your innovative ideas for a logo design competition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of establishing of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Republic of North Macedonia.

The purpose of this competition is to include the designer community, graphic design and art professionals, creative enthusiasts, young talents in North Macedonia to co-create together with the Embassy of Japan a design that will capture the essence of this very important milestone in the relations between our two countries.

The concept solution should graphically and symbolically show the friendship between the two countries and the common values we share. There should be an opportunity to use it on printed documents and brochures as well as on websites and social media.

The highest rated will be those idea solutions that will be simple, modern but meaningful. The selection will be made by representatives of the Japanese Embassy in North Macedonia.

Each participant can submit one or at most three idea solutions. Concept solutions are submitted to the email address contact@sk.mofa.go.jp, no later than October 20, 2023 (midnight). In addition to the concept solution, it is necessary to specify data about the creator - name and surname, contact phone number.

Please include a brief description of your design and inspiration when submitting your proposal.

Basic technical requirements:

- Graphic proposal for logo and its proposed uses

- The logo should be in vector format

- Independent authorship of all elements - if additional elements are used, they should also be submitted as separate graphic elements.

If the file exceeds 10MB you should use an external link for download.

Recommended graphic formats: .pdf .ai, .png

By submitting your design, you agree that the winning design's copyright will transfer to the Embassy of Japan, allowing us to use, modify, and distribute the logo for promotional and celebratory purposes.
