Skopje, 25 August 2022 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi said at Thursday's regular session of the Public and Private Dialogue Commission that the citizens have no reason to be concerned because there will be enough heating and electricity all year-round. Bytyqi referred to the company ESM's production plan, emphasizing that it has a 25% increase in comparison to last year. "The ESM will produce all necessary power for the citizens and small producers, there's no need to buy power. In addition, all production capacities from the domestic production will become functional, which is why I can assure the citizens that there's no reason to worry, there will be enough heating and power all winter," Bytyqi said. He also mentioned the new solar panel rulebook, with a simplified procedure and increased production from 4 to 6 KW for private producers or from 40 to 60 KW for industrial objects. The Public and Private Dialogue Commission will become a crisis body through which the Government and the business sector will work together to deal with the energy crisis. dk/ba/
