Sofia, 9 December 2021 (MIA) – The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it has not been informed on a French initiative that First Deputy PM Artan Grubi referred to earlier today, reports Bulgarian news agency BGNES. “There is not such proposal within diplomatic circles,” diplomats in Brussels told BGNES. There’s French initiative underway to settle the dispute between North Macedonia and Bulgaria, said Grubi. “We’ve provided the answers to all questions raised by Bulgaria in the most constructive form. We’re waiting for the new government [in Bulgaria] to approach the dialogue involving these issues in a constructive manner and to reach a deal that opens the door to EU accession,” said Grubi, who also serves as Minister for Political System.
