Bulgarian MEPs observe minute of silence in European Parliament
Brussels, 23 November 2021 (MIA) – Bulgarian MEPs expressed condolences for the victims in the fatal bus accident and their families by holding a minute of silence in the European Parliament on Tuesday, MIA’s Brussels correspondent reports. MEPs are meeting in Strasbourg this week. Bulgarian MEPs from all political parties have started the session of the Bulgarian delegation by holding a minute of silence, they told MIA. The MEPs are conveying their condolences over the bus accident in which 46 people were killed, including 12 children. The minute of silence was also observed for the nine victims of the fire that broke out on Monday at the retirement home in the Dulgopol village of Rojak. “The MEPs offer their sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the citizens of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured,” say the Bulgarian MEPs.
