Skopje, 17 February 2022 (MIA) – Vlado Buchkovski, former special representative of the Government in the Bulgaria dispute, says the problem was close to a solution by the end of 2020. “I believe we were close to a solution before the onset of 2021. Our positions came close to the ones of the liberal segment of the Bulgarian government. The five points were on the table even back then and emphasis was given on the things that could be resolved,” Buchkovski told Kanal 5 TV. He says he will continue to invest efforts to bring the two nations closer and overcome all problems.
