Skopje, 29 February 2024 (MIA) — The Energy Regulatory Commission still has no information on the progress of the selection procedure for a new universal electricity supplier, ERC head Marko Bislimoski told a press conference Wednesday.

"The procedure ends by April 17, so there is enough time," Bislimoski said, adding that he expected the selection procedure, including the electronic auction, to be completed over the next two weeks.

EVN is the current universal supplier, Its five-year contract running out at the end of June.

EVN Home, ESM and EDS are the companies that have submitted their bids to the government's public call for selecting a new universal electricity supplier. mr/
