Skopje, 13 August 2025 (MIA) - The "Independents Together" platform said Wednesday that former head of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, Biljana Ivanovska, will run for mayor of the Municipality of Centar as an independent candidate.

Several civic associations back Ivanovska, including "A Chance for Centar", "The Greens for Gazi Baba", and the civic initiative "398". 

The official presentation of Ivanovska's candidacy will take place at 9:30 am on Thursday in front of the Lotus Flower fountain at the City Park.
