Skopje, 24 June 2024 (MIA) - Besar Durmishi took over the post of Minister of Economy and Labor on Monday.

Durmishi was welcomed by the State Secretary of the Ministry, Razmena Chekikj-Durovikj, who wished him success in the post, the Ministry said in a press release.

According to the press release, the new Minister said he would work to improve the living standards of the citizens to ensure better and more comfortable lives and create new jobs so that young people lead better and more dignified lives.

Durmishi added that he would also work on creating the most acceptable climate for development and investments, facilitating administrative procedures, and fair conditions for foreign investments.

Besar Durmishi comes from the Municipality of Tetovo where he was also president of the Tetovo Municipality Council.ssh/ad/
