Berovo, 23 August 2024 (MIA) — Berovo is celebrating its Liberation Day by holding several events in honor of its fallen fighers and the city's hard-won freedom, including a flower-laying ceremony and a music festival headlined by Croatian singer Jelena Rozga, MIA's Delchevo correspondent reports.
"Throughout history, there have always been visionary, courageous and daring people who stood out [...] Their spirit still watches over the city today and lights our way," organizers said on the 80th anniversary of the city's liberation.
The local self-government has invited a number of local and regional music stars to perform at this year's festivities, which include the Malesh Region in Your Palm trade fair and the three-day Ethno Square music festival.
Jelena Rozga will perform at Ethno Square on Aug. 25.
The Berovo Liberation Day celebration is organized by the Municipality of Berovo. mr/
