Skopje, 30 October 2022 (MIA) – Citizens will continue have heating energy as of November 1, said Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi on Sunday. Minister Bekteshi told a press conference that Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) has concluded an agreement over the procurement of natural gas for heating plants, while referring to ESM for further details. “ESM has concluded an agreement over the gas procurement. Cogeneration power plant TE-TO will also be operational, covering 60-70 percent of the heating energy needs,” said Bekteshi and added the gas quantities have been procured at half the price from the one about 2-3 months ago, when it ranged between EUR 3,000-4,000 per Nm3.
