Paris, 7 December 2024 (dpa/MIA) – Poor weather, with winds of up to 80 kilometres per hour, forced part of the Notre-Dame reopening ceremony, planned to be held outdoors, inside the cathedral on Saturday.
French President Emmanuel Macron is now to make his address inside the restored cathedral rather than on the square in front of it.
The presidential office said the changes had been agreed with the Diocese of Paris.
