Austrian provinces tighten anti-coronavirus rules

Austrian provinces tighten anti-coronavirus rules
In Austria, rapidly increasing numbers of infections are leading to tighter anti-coronavirus rules for the unvaccinated. After the federal states of Styria and Tyrol, Upper Austria and Carinthia will soon no longer allow unvaccinated people into restaurants and bars under certain conditions. This also applies even if they show a negative test, they decided on Friday. The measures are due to come into force in Upper Austria on November 8, in Carinthia already on November 4. The rules apply in night-time hospitality venues and at events without assigned seating for 500 or more people. Only the vaccinated and recovered are allowed to enter. In many places, the wearing of an FFP2 mask will be mandatory. Checks are to be stepped up.
