- The army orchestras of North Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, and Croatia will hold a joint concert ahead of New Year’s Eve on Wednesday evening in Skopje, said the Ministry of Defense.
Skopje, 20 December 2023 (MIA) – The army orchestras of North Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, and Croatia will hold a joint concert ahead of New Year’s on Wednesday evening in Skopje, said the Ministry of Defense.
The concert will be held under the slogan “Army Chords, New Year’s Celebration of Friendship through the Sounds of the Four NATO Armies”. Various pieces from renowned international writers will be played, such as Bob Merrill and Naohiro Iwai, as well as several pieces from renowned composers coming from the countries of the orchestras.
The concert is expected to be attended by Defense Minister Slavjanka Petrovska; Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski; government ministers; Parliament MPs. Other guests will include the Chief of the General Staff of Albania, Major General Arben Kingji; the diplomatic and military representatives in the country; representatives of the religious communities; former defense ministers; former chiefs of staff; current and retired generals of the Army; members of the Defense Ministry, the General Staff, Army command, and others.
