Skopje, 20 September 2022 (MIA) – Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Vasko Gjurchinovski met Tuesday with Montenegro counterpart, Brigadier General Zoran Lazarevic, reaffirming the armies’ commitment to strengthening regional security. Generals Gjurchinovski and Lazarevic discussed a range of issues including enrichment of the existing bilateral military cooperation in the field of training and military education, as well as possibilities for new forms of cooperation through joint training and use of countries’ capacities, the General Staff said in a press release. Interlocutors highlighted the excellent bilateral cooperation and noted their commitment to continued improvement of the region’s security through strengthening of defense and deterrence capacities.
