Skopje, 17 January 2023 (MIA) – The Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA) HH Stefan met Tuesday with the new US Ambassador to North Macedonia, Angela Aggeler, who was accompanied by representatives from the Department of Political Affairs at the US Embassy in Skopje.

“His Holiness introduced Ambassador Aggeler to the spiritual life and the current events of MOC-OA in the homeland and among the Macedonians abroad, he wished her a successful diplomatic mission and expressed his hope that during her term the friendly and cultural ties between both people and countries will deepen further,” MOC-OA said in a press release.

According to the press release, the cordial meeting was also attended by Bishop Kliment and the Dean of the St. Clement of Ohrid Faculty of Theology, Prof. Dr. Gjoko Gjorgjievski. ad/sk/
