Appellate Court upholds Mijalkov's appeal, Criminal Court to decide again on his conditional release request
Skopje, 12 March 2024 (MIA) — The Appellate Court in Skopje has upheld the appeal of former Administration for Security and Counterintelligence director Sasho Mijalkov and sent back his case to the Criminal Court to again decide on Mijalkov's request for conditional release.
Mijalkov is serving his sentence in Struga, after he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years in prison in the "Empire" case.
His counsel filed an appeal after the Criminal Court rejected the proposal of the Struga jail director for Mijalkov's conditional release. mr/
