Andonovski at World Governments Summit 2025 in United Arab Emirates

Skopje, 11 February 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski is paying a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he will attend the World Governments Summit 2025.

At the summit, themed “Shaping Future Governments,” Andonovski will participate at the invitation of his counterpart, Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.

“The summit, held February 11-13 in Dubai, will bring together over 30 heads of state and government, more than 400 ministers, 140 government delegations, more than 80 international and regional organisations, and over 6,000 global leaders and experts. Key topics at the summit will include future technologies and artificial intelligence, sustainable energy and climate change, and global health and economic stability. Andonovski is expected to discuss innovations in public administration management and digital transformation,” as reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

During his visit, Andonovski will hold bilateral meetings with the host, Minister Omar Sultan Al Olama, Mohamed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government and UAE Cybersecurity Council, and Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Deputy Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, reads the press release.

The World Governments Summit 2025 seeks to encourage international cooperation and motivate future government generations to find innovative solutions aimed at improving the lives of people worldwide.

The summit will be attended by leading figures in technology and business, including Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, xAI, and Twitter/X; Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google; Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle; Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of the World Economic Forum; and Daniel Dines, CEO of UiPath, the Ministry of Digital Transformation said in a press release.
