Skopje, 10 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski held a meeting Wednesday with United States Ambassador Angela Aggeler, during which they discussed the projects, activities and goals of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
According to a press release by the Ministry, Andonovski and Aggeler agreed that security challenges in cyberspace represent a serious threat to the current international order. At the same time, they stressed the need for a joint approach and strategic exchange of information and experience, especially between NATO allies, with the goal of successfully tackling cyber threats.
The United States’ openness for cooperation was emphasized at the meeting, as well as the continuation of the implementation of reforms and systemic measures, which are of great importance for the digital transformation of the processes in the country, the Ministry said.
“Digitization is not only technology; it is a tool for transparency, accountability and efficiency. With the introduction of electronic services and digital systems, we can eliminate many points where corruption most often emerges.
