Kochani, 10 November 2022 (MIA) - The company Amphenol Technology Macedonia from Kochani is starting the construction of another production facility on an area of 3,500 square meters, which will be used for the production program of cables and equipment for the automotive industry. The facility is being built next to the existing production facilities near the village Trkanje, with which the company, one hundred percent export-oriented, will receive a total of about 30 thousand square meters of covered space. Some 2,700 workers from Kochani and neighboring municipalities work there. - In the new facility, we plan to install equipment for new production processes and products related to the automotive sector. We expect the construction works to be completed by the end of June next year, and after equipping it with the necessary machines and technology, production will begin. However, it is not the only investment during this year, since in August we already moved into a new building in which the production in the antenna sector for telecommunications companies is taking place, and from next month we will start using another facility for a similar production process. Regardless of the current political-security, energy and similar situations on a global level, we look optimistically and expect a successful overcoming of the challenges that lie ahead, said Sashko Nakov, director of the company Amphenol Technology Macedonia. With the opening of the new production facilities, it is expected next year, which marks Amphenol Technology Macedonia's tenth anniversary, with the current dynamics of employment exceeding the threshold of three thousand employees. For some of them, professional development is carried out in the companies of the American concern Amphenol in Germany, Denmark, Serbia and other European countries. dk/ba/
