Skopje, 5 November 2024 (MIA) - United States Ambassador Angela Aggeler said Tuesday she voted in the presidential elections and looks forward to seeing who wins.

"As the U.S. Ambassador in Macedonia, my message is pretty consistent, just as it was with your elections. It is absolutely vital that every citizen get out and vote. Voting in a democracy is a sacred responsibility and an enormous privilege. I voted and am very hopeful for a peaceful and fair transition of power, and that is what we expect and look forward to," Ambassador Aggeler told reporters when asked about her expectations from today's presidential elections in the United States.
