Skopje, 1 February 2023 (MIA) - The leadership of the ruling coalition party Alternativa is set to hold a meeting in Gostivar on Wednesday and decide on steps to be taken in case the Alliance for Albanians (AA) joins government, the party told MIA.  

After a meeting with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski on Tuesday, AA leader Arben Taravari said the Alliance of Albanians becoming part of the Government is not a definite matter but the chances for this are enormous. About 90 percent of the programme goals have been aligned but cabinet posts were not discussed, he added.  

According to him, discussions on the cabinet posts would take place in the coming days.  

PM Kovachevski also said later on Tuesday they are largely aligned on positions, while adding that discussions would continue.
